Audio Ecourse – Day 8

Thanks for keeping with me on this LONG course! I’ll likely build more into it and start charging for it in the future, so spread the word now if you think it’s valuable!
Here are two more ways to use audio with your business. As you can see, there are so many options and that is why I really think audio acrobat is the way to go for recording. Click here for a free trial of audio acrobat
Ok, onto the two ways to use audio:
Recruiting
1. Record a 5-minute company overview audio to talk about your business opportunity.
2. Interview the top sellers or company founders and have them talk about the opportunity with you. Send recruits there after they’ve had a chance to look at your specific information.
3. Your bio page. When you’re recruiting you want your potential downline to feel comfortable with you. Record a 5 minute “all about me” audio so they can hear about your involvement in your company and sell yourself to them.
Downline
1. Record a monthly recognition audio. Celebrate the members of your team who achieved promotions, sales goals and recruiting. Welcome new members for the month too.
2. Do a conference call team meeting (and record it if possible for those who couldn’t make it). Talk about company issues, upcoming specials and hostess bonuses and do team training. This is a great way to include out of state downline and keep them involved.
3. New recruit training. Record the information that you give out to each new recruit so that, like your hostess in the above example, she can listen at her leisure and really be focused on it. Then follow up with a one on one call to go over her specific questions.
4. Product training. Help your downline really sell your products by talking about your product catalog in depth and giving them ideas for how to sell specific items. Use your top sellers for this and do interviews with them on how they sell, etc.
So… now you’re ready! Now, you may be like most direct sales reps and not have a website to upload these audios once you have them recording. It’s not an issue if you’re using a voicemail system because they’ll be calling in to hear it but it does become an issue if you want to keep the audios in archive, etc.
So, here are a few places to go for a quick look on setting up a website:
1. Set up a Blog
This is a great option for customer service or downline communication. Use audio blogger or audio acrobat for easy uploading of your audio.
2. Yahoo Groups
You can set up a password protected downline group and add the audios into the “Files” section for everyone to download and/or listen to as needed.
3. Internet Based Family
This is a great site to set up a simple but fantastic fully functional website so you can have all your audios here for all categories of your business. You can password protect certain pages – for your downline, for instance, and have others open for everyone else.
I think all direct sales professionals should have a website separate from their company sponsored one. If you’re interested in finding out more about that, send me an email and I’ll add you to my list of people interested in a quick course on setting up a website for your direct sales business even if you have one through your company.
I’d love to hear how you are doing with your audio so please email me and let me know!
