How in the world do you get links to your website? Because that’s one of the keys to getting your direct sales website on page one of Google – quality backlinks to your site. But how do you do it?
1. You can pay for the link. It costs anywhere from $10 a year to $100 for a WEEK to advertise on a website, depending on the traffic that that site receives.
2. You can email hundreds of websites, asking for link exchanges. This is very time consuming, not very effective and difficult to manage.
3. You can run around finding places that allow free advertising and try to get links there. How exhausting!
OR, you can write and submit free articles. Websites are THANKFUL to put your link on their site. And, you didn’t even have to beg or pay the big bucks. Article marketing is a great way to show the search engines that your website is important — because other websites are linking to it.
That’s it for search engines for today. Tomorrow’s lesson is:
Writing articles. See you then!

Make your articles:
Brief

Remember, we are not striving to win a Pulitzer Prize, but to share information with people on a topic of interest in an easy to read manner.
If you’re stuck on ideas, oftentimes it helps to start a list of “Top 5 …” or “How to …” or “Why you should …”
You can use keyword tools to give you ideas for articles. Google has the best keyword tool out there. Click here to give it a try (it’s free).
Also, search through current events in magazines, newspapers, and look for problems where you can provide solutions.
In the EasyArticleMarketing course, Kelly has provided article outlines to just plug in your ideas and presto! You’ll have articles written in no time.
If you’re really not interested in writing then you may consider hiring some help. You can hire a writer to write drafts for you to personalize, or to turn your drafts into professional articles you’d be proud to have your name on.
